Today I went to Guanajuato with Annie, Megan, Omar, Tana, Emma, and Maicah. I was really excited to get out of Leon for a little while. The missionaries in GTO invited us to eat breakfast with them. GTO is about 30 or 45 min away from here, so it is not too far. We left Leon around 9:00 a.m. and were in GTO till 6:00 p.m. For brunch we went to the market and ate. Then we went to the square and I got to play with Emma, Annie, (the missionarie's daughter) and Maicah. I learned a new game called Lobo (wolf). It is a spanish game. We also played duck duck goose. It is funny how playing with them all day was so relaxing to me. I am so thankful for kids. God teaches me to let go and let Him through them. I am excited to have my own someday but not for a while. LoL God is soo good to have allowed me to have a great day playing.

Leon Family
I just went to coffee with Jazmin Rubio, a sister in Christ here. God has blessed me so much to be able to converse with her in Spanish. We talked about many things such as: home, the little bitty moon in the sky, our friends, reading, and struggles. I was very encouraged by our conversation. She encouraged me to serve my teammates more in her example with her roommates. I was able to tell her some things that have been hard here and talk about my home and family in Texas. She was a very good listener and God really knew what I needed tonight. I have been missing home and family a lot lately and been sad for no reason sometimes.
Pause: Although I am going through some trials, I am excited after 6 months of Spanish to finally get to studying more and filling my schedule with family and the lost. However, it is hard sometimes because I have to be flexible but at the same time very organized. I also have to initiate things if I want things to happen, which isn't bad because God has blessed me. In this area I have to be selfless with my schedule and work around everybody else. It is amazing to think that Jesus was always this way but at the same time always balanced his schedule. He always made time to spend with God! I am going to look towards God to give me wisdom in this area.
Back with Jazmin: At the end of our coffee "date" we prayed together. God is so good to give me a sister and friend.
