My mom just left today from a week visit. Dad and Jenny also got to come. I have been encouraged by their visit. I am a little sad that time went by so quickly, but am so blessed that they were even able to come. After reading 1 Thessalonians 3:13-18, I feel that I must share what is on my heart and remind you, my dear brothers and sisters, the hope we have in God.
1 Thessalonians 3:16
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
Won't it be awesome, when we all get to heaven. I cannot express the joy that I have because of the fact that someday I will get to spend always with God, my Father, Friend, Love, Savior, Life, Hope, and so much more. So smile for me because as my good friend Amber used to tell me, "You are going to heaven". If you are seeking God and doing His will, then say this to yourself, I am going to heaven!
