Ladies' Breakfast

Praise God for a wonderful morning, reminding me once again of how blessed I am. Every Tuesday morning some Ladies from the church get together for breakfast. We all bring a dish and have lots of food! Annie, Megan, Barbara, Tana, Esperanza (she hosted the breakfast), Fabiola, Adela, Isabel and her daughter, Maribel, and I went to the breakfast. After we ate, we studied Proverbs chapter 1, which is about wisdom. Most everybody contributed and gained something from our study. I didn't talk very much but gained a lot. Before I went to the breakfast, I prayed that I would be an encouragement to the women, but instead I was encouraged. One lady, Adela, was telling us that last year was one of the worst years for her. However, as she looks back, she sees how much she grew spiritually. God has given her peace, more faith, and matured her. What a blessing to reflect on the hard times and see how God works through those things, things that might have been sin or the cause of our mistakes. Isn't God amazing and faithful! Really everything on this earth is for His glory. Praise God that our sisters are learning and maturing in Him! Praise God for giving them a desire and heart to know Him!
